Pricing Structure
Initial Consultation:
- The initial consultation fee covers the comprehensive assessment of your fertility health, including a review of medical history, diagnostic testing recommendations, and personalized treatment planning.
- Cost: R1000 – R1500
Diagnostic Testing:
- Diagnostic testing may include blood tests, ultrasound scans, semen analysis, and other assessments to evaluate fertility status and identify any underlying issues.
- Cost: Prices vary depending on the specific tests required. Approximate range: R1500 – R3000
Fertility Treatments:
- Intrauterine Insemination (IUI):
- IUI involves the placement of prepared sperm directly into the uterus during ovulation to increase the chances of conception.
- Cost: R5000 – R8000 per cycle
- In Vitro Fertilization (IVF):
- IVF is a multi-step fertility treatment that involves retrieving eggs from the ovaries, fertilizing them with sperm in the laboratory, and transferring the resulting embryos into the uterus.
- Cost: R25,000 – R40,000 per cycle (excluding medications and additional procedures)
- Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI):
- ICSI is a specialized technique used in conjunction with IVF to achieve fertilization by injecting a single sperm directly into an egg.
- Cost: Additional R8000 – R12,000 per cycle
- Blastocyst Culture and Transfer:
- Extended embryo culture to the blastocyst stage (day 5 or 6) may be recommended to optimize embryo selection and improve pregnancy rates.
- Cost: Additional R5000 – R8000 per cycle
- Preimplantation Genetic Testing (PGT):
- PGT involves screening embryos for chromosomal abnormalities or genetic disorders before embryo transfer.
- Cost: R10,000 – R15,000 per cycle (excluding biopsy and testing fees)
Additional Services:
- Additional services such as embryo cryopreservation, frozen embryo transfer (FET), assisted hatching, and embryo biopsy may incur additional fees. Prices for these services are available upon request.
Medications:
- The cost of fertility medications, including ovarian stimulation drugs, trigger shots, and progesterone supplements, is not included in the procedure fees and will be billed separately. Prices for medications vary depending on the type and dosage required.
Payment Options:
- Payment for services rendered at Midstream Fertility Clinic is due at the time of service. We accept payment by cash, credit card, or medical aid.
- Financing options or payment plans may be available for qualifying patients. Please inquire with our billing department for more information.
Medical Aid:
- Some fertility treatments and diagnostic tests may be covered by medical aid plans. We recommend contacting your medical aid provider to verify coverage and determine any out-of-pocket expenses.
